1 cum brick work and brick size is (230 x 120 x 75)

1cum Bricks equal to 77 percentage Bricks and 23 percentage mortar

1cum brick=0.77+0.23

So, number of bricks =0.77/(0.23x0.120x0.075) =370 Nos

Mortar Ratio 1:6

1cum wet mortar is equal to dry volume=1.33

so that 0.23 cum wet volume =0.23x1.33=0.31 cum

Ratio is 1:6 =1+6=7

Cement: (1/7)x0.31=0.044/0.035=1.27 Bag (64 kg)

(cement unit weight is 1450=50/1450=0.035)

Sand: (1/7)x0.31x6=0.266 cum=9.38 cft


Mortar Ratio 1:5

1cum wet mortar is equal to dry volume=1.33

so that 0.23 cum wet volume =0.23x1.33=0.31 cum

Ratio is 1:5 =1+5=6

Cement: (1/6)x0.31=0.052/0.035=1.48 Bag (74kg)

(cement unit weight is 1450=50/1450=0.035)

Sand: (1/6)x0.31x5=0.26 cum= 9.18 cft


Mortar Ratio 1:4

1cum wet mortar is equal to dry volume=1.33

so that 0.23 cum wet volume =0.23x1.33=0.31 cum

Ratio is 1:4 =1+4=5

Cement: (1/5)x0.31=0.062/0.035=1.77 Bag (89kg)

(cement unit weight is 1450=50/1450=0.035)

Sand: (1/5)x0.31x4 =0.248 cum= 8.75cft


Mortar Ratio 1:3

1cum wet mortar is equal to dry volume=1.33

so that 0.23 cum wet volume =0.23x1.33=0.31 cum

Ratio is 1:3 =1+3=4

Cement: (1/4)x0.31=0.078/0.035=2.21 Bag (111kg)

(cement unit weight is 1450=50/1450=0.035)

Sand: (1/4)x0.31x3 =0.232 cum= 8.20cft
